L Tyrosine overview

L-tyrosine is a powerfully effective amino acid widely used by bodybuilders, strength athletes and power athletes. It offsets muscular fatigue (and mental tiredness) during training, makes you feel more alert and focused, and can increase your general sense of wellbeing. As you know, when you feel good, you feel stronger and more able to attack a tough training session. Supplementing with our pure grade l-tyrosine will help.

Serious gym goers, bodybuilders and athletes choose to add l-tyrosine to their supplement stack because it helps them to focus on training and train harder. It can also help with weight cutting, and boost the rate of physical recovery between training sessions. It is a precursor to the thyroid and helps with the neurotransmitters adrenaline and nor-adrenaline. These neurotransmitters are linked to a positive mood and mindset, good memory, sharpness, alertness and better concentration. Studies have shown that all of these important neurotransmitters can be supported and boosted with l-tyrosine supplementation.

This is the most pure grade l-tyrosine supplement and highly potent. It is important that you pay attention to dosage and do not exceed the recommended 2 x 0.5g-1g servings daily. If you are unfamiliar with using l-tyrosine, start on low dosage and increase as tolerance permits. Higher dosages (over 500mg) can cause headaches.

L-tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid but it is important to supplement with it as we can not get optimal levels from the foods we eat. L-tyrosine has benefits for body comp and the mindset (mood and mindset, mental alertness, training focus, concentration). Add it to your sports supplement stack and you will see the benefits in training intensity and results.


L Tyrosine dosage and suggested use

As a dietary supplement. mix 0.2-0.5g l-tyrosine powder with 50ml of water or non acidic juice (grapefruit juice) and drink 1 to 2 times daily or as required. 1 flat 1.5ml scoop provides an estimated 600mg. A 1.5ml scoop is included in package, however marco scales are recommended due to the small serving size.

Important: do not exceed a 0.5g serving daily. If you are unfamiliar with this product, start on low dosage and increase as tolerance permits. Higher dosages (over 0.5g / 500mg) can cause headaches.

Great as a morning starter to help with brain fog and energy levels, and as a top up in the arvo smoothy as needed. Has been one of my core nutrients whilst recovering from adrenal fatigue.
Slightly chalky in water, but not really an issue at all.

I take this as a pre-workout along side ALCAR. This gets my mind ready to take on my workout, I can also push myself just that little bit more! Goes great as a pre with Thermo Shred too! Love it! If you swig it down quickly the flavour isn’t too bad.

I have been using this in my combo of pre-workout supplements. I have been working out what works well for me to find a balance with the amino acids I use. It seems to work very well. I find all of the BP's amino acid range is great for stacking to make your own pre-workout powders.
